Past Recipients of the Honorary 50th

        Reunion Alumni Jacket

In 2007, the HHSAA established an honorary jacket program in which a personalized jacket is presented at a class’s 50th
reunion to one of the class members. The class member is chosen by his or her classmates based on criteria established by the
class that they think makes the candidate worthy of the honor. An honor it is as it is a one-of-a-kind jacket, the only one
created for that class year . The recipients of the honor for the past 16 years are:
        Jeanette Benn Anderson ’57 - 2007

                                  By Fred Grant ’88

Hello fellow Alum! We often get asked - how do I know if a donation call, email or letter from
the Alumni Association is legitimate? It's a great question and one you should always ask when
receiving a request for a financial donation from ANY organization. Here are a few key facts to
remember when donating to the Houlton High School Alumni Association.
        1. When you receive an invoice from HHSAA the return address will ALWAYS be:
PO Box 990, Houlton, ME 04730
If you receive ANYTHING other than this address, report it to us and throw it out.
        2. HHSAA has only 1 website and it is HoultonAlumni.com - any other website is not official!
        3. Making donations to the above website is secure and the best way to use your credit card.
        4. If you receive a call from HHSAA and don't know the person you're talking to, ask for the information to be mailed to you.
We are happy to take this extra step to make sure your information is safe. Remember - the return address will be PO Box 990
            if it's legitimate correspondence.
        5. Contact Us page at HoultonAlumni.com. Someone will get back to you, or contact Jon McLaughlin, Executive Director at
            jon@hhsalumassoc.net.
Stay safe out there and until next time, I'll see you on "the net".

        Take care,
        Fred
