to the community and support in any way we can.
This year we will have selections of patriotic music
during and after the ceremony. The High School and
Middle School bands are extremely excited to have the
McGill’s Community Band join us for this event. Having
this collaboration with the three groups is so important
in our eyes because it brings so many people together
in a magnificent event that supports our community.
Our modern band program continues to grow, starting
the year off at 40 students. For our winter concert, we
had seven groups perform for a sold-out performance.
The program grew for the second semester. We now
have about 65 students involved. There are three
middle school groups, eight high school groups and a
teacher group made of teachers in all different areas of
study and grade levels. The program has had to split
the concert up into two nights because it has grown so

To Host Annual Social and Golf
Scramble
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming annual
HHSAA Social on Friday, July 5th, followed by the
Golf Scramble on Saturday, July 6th.
The SOCIAL will commence at 4PM on Friday, featuring
complimentary hors d’oeuvres and an open bar until
6PM, creating the perfect setting for networking and
camaraderie.
The 9 HOLE GOLF SCRAMBLE will tee off with a
shotgun start at 9AM on Saturday, with registration
beginning at 8AM.

It is time to wrap up another edition of News from
the Music Room. I hope to see plenty of Alumni this
summer at the McGill’s Community Band concerts in
the park. We have our first concert on June 13th at
7:00 p.m. It is our last student day at the school. What
a fantastic way to celebrate the end of the year and
start of a new season. Hope to see you there!

To secure your spot or register a team of four, please
contact the clubhouse at 532-2662. The registration
fee is $50 per person for this exciting 9-hole Scramble,
which includes a mulligan for every player. It promises
to be an engaging and enjoyable event, open to all
alumni, faculty, and friends.
Your ongoing support means the world to us, and
we eagerly anticipate your presence at either or both
fantastic gatherings.
