In 2021, the children of Arthur and Mary Greaney The James “Jim” Craigs Scholarship Fund was started
opened the Arthur & Mary Greaney Fund account in 2022 with a donation from the estate and a wish
to create a scholarship in their parents’ memory. With for an annual scholarship to be given out to a student
a sizeable contribution the fund was able to award a seeking business studies. Jim was a member of the
scholarship in its first year. Mr. Greaney served HHS Class of 1961.

Many might not know what The Willows were. Basically, it was a mini settlement on what is today outer
Smyrna Street roughly where the road dips down after the railroad bridge. There was a grove of willows
within the area. This is how the photo looks to me. You historians might know better than me
the exact location.
