➣ Another area we need help with is Class Reps for all classes. Look at the class news in this
issue to see if your class has a class rep or not. If it doesn’t, please consider being one for your
class. The work is simple. You receive class news from your classmates and see that it gets
sent into me for inclusion in the class news. You develop emails and phone numbers for
your classmates and contact them from time to time reminding them to get news to you. No
news is too small – “Judy Smith contacted me, and her granddaughter Jane is going to have
a new baby soon. This will be Judy’s first great-grandchild. She also has four grandchildren”
Simple, but wonderful news that your classmates like to hear about. Also, you can be the
clearing house and spokesperson for your class for class reunions.
If you don’t want to be a class rep, could you please furnish us a name and contact
information for one or two folks in your class that you think might be interested. We will
contact them and work with them. If you want to remain anonymous as our source, we will
honor this request.
Folks, you are always so giving of our financial needs. Won’t you please be giving of some of your
time. The expense is small, but the reward is great- helping make this newsletter continue to be the
only one interested in Houlton High School Alumni, Faculty and Friends.
My best to all alums and their families for a most wonderful 2023.
