We are sad to announce the passing of two important alums that have been very instrumental in the history of the
Houlton High School Alumni Association – Rachel Sylvester Good ’60 and Thomas Fitzpatrick ’63. On behalf of
the Board of Directors and in memory of these alums, we would like to dedicate this issue to them and the wonderful
memories and hours of assistance that they have given the Board of Directors of the Association.
Tom was the husband of our longtime secretary, Rachel was a passionate advocate for youth
Patty Donovan Fitpatrick ’63. Tom assisted his wife mentorship and community arts which included
tirelessly with Association related work at many work as a founding board member of the Houlton
